Anatoly Chubais and the management of the SUN Innovations Company presented the Printer and other latest innovations to President Dmitry Medvedev at EXPO 2010 in Shanghai

During his three day visit to China, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev took part in the opening of Day of Russia at the international exhibition EXPO 2010, where together with the Vice President Xi Jinping he visited the Russian pavilion at the exhibition

As previously reported, SUN Innovation is a permanent member of the Russian exposition at the International Exhibition "Expo 2010" held in Shanghai (China) from May 1 to October 31, 2010

At the end of September, more than 60 million people has visited the exhibition, and the Russian pavilion, which is one of the most popular and most visited - more than 6 million people.

The entire Russian pavilion was prepared for the visit of President Medvedev and Xi Jinping. The expositions were updated, a partial redesign was held, the new members settled. This way Rusnano’s exposition booth, as well other innovation companies appeared in the pavilion.

SUN Innovation’s exhibition booth was prepared for the visit of President as well. The leadership of SUN Company- Vladislav Mirchev and Natalya Stasyuk arrived on the eve of Russia’s Day at EXPO. They brought samples of new products recently developed by our company: safety glass with full color images inside printed by new triplex ink, electronic boards composed of conductive elements made by new silver nanoink, catalog of samples presenting water inks for desktop printers. The UV nanoink samples were printed straight away at the booth on NEO UV-LED Evolution Compact printer.

On the Day of Russia, September 28, 2010, in the afternoon, our booth was visited by the General Director of the State Corporation "RusNANO" - Anatoly Chubais. He became acquainted with the exposition of SUN Innovations Company, examined new samples, and questioned the executives about company’s plans for the future, its promising developments. Mr. Chubais was particularly interested in production plans for conductive inks and water inks.

Information agency "RIA-Novosti" held exclusive right to take photographs during President Medvedev’s visit, we asked them to provide us some photos of Mr. Medvedev to make imprints on the Printer . "RIA-Novosti” kindly agreed to assist us on this matter. While the President examined the EXPO, "RIA-Novosti”s photographer made plenty of pictures of Medvedev and Xi Jinping’s delegations. Several of photos were selected by our specialists for printing. By the time of President’s visit to Russian pavilion, some pictures were partly printed, while some were in the printing process.

At 15:30, after the visit to Chinese Pavilion, Russia’s Day opening ceremony and welcome speech, President Dmitry Medvedev guided Vice President Xi Jinping through the Russian pavilion, which represented the most up-to-date innovations.

Chinese Vice President examined the RusNANO Corporation’s exposition. Anatoly Chubais, the head of Corporation gave Mr. Xi Jinping a photograph, printed on glass by SUN Innovations Company’s printer, as a present. Later President Medvedev visited SUN Innovations Company’s exhibition booth, where Vladislav Mirchev, Natalya Stasyuk and Anatoly Chubais told President Medvedev and Vice President Xi Jinping about recent technologies, developments and achievements of RusNANO’s and SUN Innovations Company. They presented the NEO UV-LED Evolution Compact printer while the mentioned above photos were being printed on glass.

After the tour, upon leaving the Russian pavilion, Vladislav Mirchev handed Dmitry Medvedev a picture printed on glass, showing views of Shanghai city and the President.
