Franchising – "a business adviser to boot"
In general, the essence of franchising is simple and familiar to everyone: setting up an independent business under an existing brand with an all-round support of experienced market player (franchiser). In this case, the main thing is not only a well-known brand, but the forethought offered scheme.
The seller of the franchise offers the buyer (franchisee) tried-and-trusted program. The franchiser also solves many organizational and marketing problems, helps with creation and development of business, with advertising, production organization and personnel training.
According to the statistics of this millennium, 85 % out of newly formed companies in the world closed their businesses within the first five years. As for those who worked according to a franchising scheme with minimum risks - just 14 % did so. And it is clear: franchisee gets reputation at once, gets preferential access to innovations and a guarantee of regular supply.
Most part of franchises is connected with catering and retail trade. Rendering services on a franchising scheme is more rare (Liberty Tax Service, for example). So the area of rendering any possible services remains free enough.
Every franchisee would like to have business of a purchased franchise with high degree of competitiveness. That's why there is much to gain from the business based on innovations which have already proved demand for these innovations on the market.
