잉크젯 프린팅 기술로 태양 전지 만들기

Photo Voltaic (PV) market is keeping growth from year to year. According to analysts in case of optimistic global PV market scenarios from now till 2013, an annual capacity of photovoltaic systems will exceed 17 GW!

Developing of new solar cells production units in Russia involves vertically integrated structure with the beginning of the production chain from polycrystalline silicon. By the way, polycrystalline silicon production is the most expensive point as well as time consuming.

As it was mentioned in the RBC review «PV-market: solar panels», currently the world market of polycrystalline silicon is divided between U.S., Germany and Japan. Russia's part in 2009 was less than 1% of global production.

Today about 13 projects of "solar" polycrystalline silicon and photovoltaic cells production are declared. The total investment can be estimated at level more than 4.5 billion dollars till 2015 and the total energy production capacity will exceed 290 megawatts of solar energy per year.

In Russia, RUSNANO is the most active participants in the creation of solar cells: company is involved in three announced projects. It should be noted that RUSNANO contributes in production of solar cells at level of polycrystalline silicon technology and thin-film manufacturing technology also. Today different techniques are used for solar cells production: roller, spray guns, silk-screen printing etc. These techniques are not effective from the raw material consumption point of view.

SUN Company is developing technology of creation photovoltaic cells by inkjet printing. This way seems the most effective and precise for usage in solar cells production. The basis is special ink with polycrystalline silicon instead of color pigment and conductive ink which provide the current collecting from polycrystalline silicon.
